Post-national, Global, or Local: Literary Cinematic Responses
Abstract
“Post-national, Global, or Local: Literary Cinematic Responses” examines how globalisation and post-nationalism work in the realities of today. The paper investigates today’s cinema (Newton, Hindi Medium, Barfi, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Pad Man) as experiences of individuals who are struggling with the day-to-day realities under the light of globalisation.
