"The Culture and Politics of Representation in Mirabai’s Poetry” explores the Vaishnava Bhakti movement with a focus on Mirabai’s poetry. It attempts to highlight the power and control of Mira Bai on her ‘self’, and how she surmounted the hurdles on the path of her spiritual and mystical journey.
