Oscillation between Past and Present: Physical and Emotional Mobility in Namita Gokhale’s The Book of Shadows
Abstract
This article analyzes Namita Gokhale’s The Book of Shadows using trauma theory. It examines how the protagonist navigates emotional and physical mobility while dealing with trauma, gender dynamics, and power structures. The study presents mobility as both a psychological and social process shaped by privilege and access.
